Just take Tubby’s down and put Cal’s in that place.

Agree. I think we will have him in 2-3 years after he retires. Based off what he keeps saying about 20-30 families, that would work out to 5-7 years. I do think he retires then. Don't see him coaching deep into 70's.👍 1Comment

We hung 1 big banner and several final fours. I think that is enough to get him up there for sure. I will never like the guy but he deserves credit for what he did do. Also deserves all the trash talk he receives as well. I just think it takes a while.Proverbs 25:24👍 2Comment

I was ready for Cal to go the last couple of years he was here, but he did a lot of good things here and was a good human being in the community. Give it some time, but he certainly deserves to be up there👍 3Comment

He won a title here, won multiple SEC tourneys and regular seasons, and went to multiple Final Fours.
Anybody who argues against his inclusion in the rafters isn't being logical and going strictly off recency bias and emotion.
It took about 15 years to get Smith up there, so I'm guessing Cal will go up sometime around 2035.Originally posted by John Stuart MillHe who knows only his own side of the case knows little of that... I'm going to abstain from voting. He was very successful for several years, there's no doubt. And then he had several pretty bad years by UK's standard. But he did a lot of intentional harm to the UK brand as well. I'm not just talking about bad losses - it was the whole Players First, NBA draft focus, etc. In my mind, that's one vote for and 2 strikes against. If it were only the one strike, it would probably be a no-brainer.Comment

I was as ready as anybody for Cal to leave, but he didn't sabotage the program intentionally.👍 1Comment
