That's what I am saying, it's that social media smart phone bs lol lol lol....
Back when I was younger I would stay glued to a UK game plus shamefully so, I would be higher than a kite (many many years ago) locked in.
Now if we get up big, I will get distracted and kind of zoom in zoom out on autopilot.
If we are playing like crap, I am quick to so go somewhere and yap about it.
My goal for the upcoming season is to lock in watch every moment of every game, enjoy the ride, enjoy the moment.

I actually don't have any superstitions regarding game days. Just kick back in my recliner and escape real life for a couple hours. I've mellowed some as I've aged. I used to let it affect my moods and whatnot. I don't let it do that anymore. I don't care any less, if that makes sense.Comment

Honestly, I miss the old pre social media you tune in watch every game then let it go to the next. I can't even remember the name of the book I used to buy every year but I believe it was CATS PAUSE, had all the high schoolers UK preview and all that, may be wrong about the name.
Still it's all good, technology has it's advantages, much more aware these days but also much more consumed with it lol...
Anyways, I just want to enjoy the game and take it all in for the moments..Comment

Cats Pause was the annual preview / yearbook for UK sports, started by Oscar Combs.
It was the definitive source for info prior to the internet.👍 1Comment

If we’re playing at home, drive on the right side of the road
If playing away, drive on the left side of the road
Seriously though, if it’s a significant game that’s down to the wire I feel it’s better luck if I tune out the game and just gauge what’s going on in the commentsComment
