It technically is Wildcat Faithful, in its evolved form.

The best ref story in UK lore is the one where they played a game in Illinois in horrific weather, and they had to get high school refs from out of the crowd to officiate it.
IIRC, That Illinois game was 83-84 season. Dead of winter, brutal snow storm. Cats won a close one on a late bucket by James Blackmon. Oscar Combs used to bring up that game often, those involved on the trip felt lucky to get up there and back in one piece.

I remember people joking that admins were trolling rafters to get people to buy hob- I sometimes thought it to be true. Looking back, I’ve never been on a board trolled as much as rafters. From lead belly’s millions of accounts to that summer of porn gifs, it was the Wild West of message boards at times haha

I had 16k posts on RR, had been a member since 08, literally half of my life but the way they took over and wasn’t going to have a free board until the back lash combined with my disdain for MJ, I’m staying here.

Absolutely. No desire to go back to a board of fighting and just a culture of teenage girls constantly stirring the pot and seeking drama. Love this board. Also love that there is no Bots posting constantly with meaningless crap.

I'm trying to wrap my head around the psychology of someone who would do all the work of programming a bot...only to set it loose on a sports message board.

The whole idea of programming bots in general is diabolical work.

We hope to retain as many new folks as possible. It's just sort of a dead time as far as Kentucky sports, so it's important to keep the momentum up as best we can.

It seems like it was meant to be, Pope reviving the basketball program, and the opportunity to get away from the greedy folks who tried to pull the wool over everyone's eyes.

What's great about UK fans is there is no dead time we're at it 24/7/365 lol. That's what make the BBN so darn unique and the best in America.
