Harrow's issues here were mental. Not sure if he could've ever been an elite player or anything, but he had a breakdown when he was here. He's one guy I feel really sorry for when I think back on players of the past. Dusty Mills is another.
I vaguely remember that. He missed some time due to it, IIRC.

Looking at his stats, he did transfer to Georgia State and seemed to play pretty well his last two years to end his college career.

I think the problem of interpretation here is that Harrow’s actual graduating class had strong point guards, but the next year’s (the year he played for KY) did not; there weren’t many good point guards to recruit as freshman vs bringing in a transfer. There’s another component not being mentioned and that is that it was widely believed that Teague would be back. Teague probably did the right thing though, because on a worse team, his draft stock would have fallen. Also remember that there wasn’t definite certainty that Lamb would jump after his sophomore year. Even though he wasn’t a point guard, Lamb on the’12-13 would have taken some pressure off the point guard.

Doesn’t have to be the worst at the position, could be the ones you liked the least.

        Goodwin
        Carruth
        Sharpe
        Skal
        Carter

        6th: Porter
I would have to put Boston on this list close to the top.

Yea. I kinda have to agree. He never seemed engaged.

Maybe that's a great precursor to tell when a coach is "done". What got Tubby in trouble was the same thing...after starting off well with Prince, Bogans, etc., most of his recruits the last few years left a lot to be desired. And of course Gillespie's recruiting (Dakota Euton, GJ Vilarino, KC Ross-Miller, etc.) never got off the ground. Cal's recruiting also drastically dropped off after he was given his lifetime contract.

It amazes me that anyone can have Goodwin on that list.
