All the discussion of prior sites has me curious. Far as I know the first UK sport internet group was Cat Chat. It predated web browsers and was an email reflector. You sent a message to the Cat-Chat mailbox and it forwarded the email to all members. I can't remember when I first joined but suspect it was about 1990.

Anyone know of anything earlier Cat-Chat?

This version of the site has been around since 2014. We got hacked by ISIS and that caused us to start over. I can almost guarantee you that the new members today are more than the last ten years combined.
