One thing I'll say for the new members to see is that our moderators are wonderful. They're fair, forgiving, honest, and don't put up with much nonsense. It's one of the main reasons so many of us have been around so long.

Rafters got the reputation over the years of being a bit of a streetfight. I was an old HoB member from back in the day, posted on Rivals a lot back in the Greg Hoover era, but didn't use it a lot as the years went on because I felt like guys were using it to just pick at each other and get at long-held grudges.

I'd hope we can kind of reboot here...but, ya know, if we all got along all the time, what's the use of even coming to a board? Gotta have some spice.

I've been on Rafters and the boards that preceded it for more than 20 years but am now here. So far, it seems like a great place to be. Hope I see a bunch of my Rafters friends here too. Thanks for letting me join this site.

i lost my RR login and even though i had updated my email, it seemed to still be attached to a very old one I no longer use so I couldn’t log back on.

I was lurking there and saw the news of RR turning pay to post. I almost just retired but checked this site out and saw guys coming over here I’ve talked to for many years, I just had to join. Glad I did. Definitely will be different, hopefully it can become a little more user friendly on the phone but I’m happy to have a good community to post on. Go Cats
