Gonna be honest: as soon as I woke up this morning I Googled "Shelbyville man buzzards on house okay?" The mention of this man installing those spikes on his roof like it's the last act of Home Alone got me spooked a little for his safety.
Somebody needs to get this thread to Otega Oweh and watch his face as he reads every post.Comment

First of all, mowing the lawn yesterday afternoon and working in the yard kicked my butt, thank goodness I am off on Friday's.
As for the birds, it's raining outside and since I am off today and have the house to myself, Im not even worrying about these birds today.
Actually, these birds have been here off and on for a month, they come and go.
I assumed it was something that would pass but it seems to be my rooftop is a rest area for these birds lol lol.
When talking about shooting at these birds, it is a total last resort. I own many guns but they are locked in the safe. I hunted and did all that when I was young then went to the Army, had my thrills playing with the big toys, actually don't even like guns to be honest.Comment

I do, since I was 15 years old. Plus my Great Grandfather and a Country Legends grandfather were 1st cousins, kind of runs in my blood.
At one time I had a lot of music on various sites but after I pretty much disbanded my group roughly 12-13 years ago, I actually quit for close to 10 years (BURN OUT) and picked it back up a few years ago, I had to let my brain reset. The group thing was/is a sore subject, I put a lot of time and resources (Golden years of my life) into the development of a few individuals. Actually had a RECORD DEAL place with a company back 13 ago, all I had to do was sign it. I wasn't willing to give up all my publishing rights yet it was a blessing in disguise. If major money would have came our way it would have been a problem. Managing EGO's and all that is literally for the birds lol..
To answer your question. Now that I am solo and working alone, I am trying to figure out my next step since I am literally sitting on at least 200 plus song and track instrumentals. I don't wont to let my life's work go to waste. One thing I did do the past few years is actually study and learn the engineering side of it all, my studio skill are way more polished than back in the day.
On a positive note, my son actually toured the United States. He writes produces and performs with a artist who is literral about to be the next big thing in his genre. I can always funnel him music and Ideas but for me I am thinking commercials, video game content, elevator music, who knows, I am just not dealing with singers, rappers, and ego's anymore plus I am 51 years old lol lol..??
My next project Is to resume and revitalize a track instrumental that I specifically made for UK basketball maybe 15 years ago. A intro warm up hype song as starting lineups are being announced.

You crazy and no I am not getting on a ladder for my roof, absolutely not. I done had 2 strokes and the last one hit my balance. Thankfully I am 99% good but something inside of me died the second time around, not even sure I can ever fly again to be honest.

Thanks Matt. At the end of the day it's still a hobby plus I really enjoy a simple life, not sure I could even deal with the fast lane and all that comes with it, prefer to be on the sidelines lol lol. By no means would I ever put my family's survival in jeopardy chasing a selfish wild dream but music is therapy, a escape from reality, plus nothing replaces the "moment" when creating something new and 4 hours later your like what!!!!!!!!!!
I retired out of the car business like 12 years ago but I truly love and am thankful for what I do now as my 9-5. I get to help people all across Kentucky Southern Indiana Ohio and Nashville to Memphis, truly blessed and thankful in that regards.
On a side note, just so you know. Way back in the day I was going to take care of you, I even fell out with the owner lol lol.Comment
