Really good game last night between Texas and Xavier. High-level basketball for 40 minutes.
Xavier could not miss down the stretch, one three after another. Texas's complete lack of a point guard hurt them, because when they needed set plays at the end of the game they couldn't really get in anything.
If we get past Troy, Xavier looks like a pretty tough match-up to me for Kentucky (although I think we'll get Illinois, who's either deadly or awful). The announcers pointed out how Xavier's one of the oldest teams in college basketball, which made sense because they didn't get rattled in that game. Also, Sean Miller can coach.
Looking forward to today.
