Me too. Marquette concerns me, but we have to beat Texas Tech or NC State before Marquette. The easiest bracket but still tough.

All things considered, good bracket. Yeah, there are some problem matches. Always are. Cats play at their best, could be a nice run. The aTm crew plays, well...say goodbye earlier.

          Tourney is always nuts.

UConn to me is the class of the show. Purdue always seems. To find a way to bow out, but maybe not this one. Then you have a team like Houston that can play defense the way the "good Kentucky' plays offense.

          Always a neat show.

A love letter from Comittee to UNC. I think the matchups from our draw are terrible, NC St,Marquette and Houston are the exactly the type of teams that have given us fits. After Thursday every game will be a war. I am pulling for T Tech to beat UNC. Providing we get there I pray someone else has upset Houston before E8. If you thought A&M manhandled us wait till we play Houston.

Ricky P left out. Boo Hoo. Declined the NIT because he’s too good for that. 3 weeks ago he was amidst the most miserable season of his coaching career. Unbelievably unathletic team. Now he’s complaining he’s snubbed. See ya

I just want survive through the weekend and get to next week. I am sick of watching other teams play year in and year out after the first weekend..

If he can't win some games this year with this roster, Cal needs to step aside and be the GM recuiter, let someone else coach.

This year is as good as it it will ever be talent wise...

                  My hope is this.

Regular season the kids just showed up when they wanted too knowing Regular season games really don't mean much including the SEC tournament. NBA teams do the same thing until its time.

Now that the world is watching and Draft stock is on the line, let's hope they play to prove a point this year.

I sincerely hope the SEC tournament loss fired them up and pissed them off moving forward..

They better be hitting everything they throw up and playing insane D against us. Even so, Houston will NOT score 80 points, even against us.

The thing with Houston is that they're so physical and strong you worry that they would just bully the crap out of us.

I've noticed--we've all noticed--this thing with this Kentucky team where they just get shoved around and they look like they're shell-shocked. Then that thing starts to happen where teams just drive it to the rim and get lay-ups on 10, 15 possessions in a row.

Houston is old and brute strong. For that reason alone and just discounting the crazy schematic things they do on defense, they're a really worrisome match-up for Kentucky.

But, honestly, if we play defense like we've done in more than half our games so far this year we aren't getting to no stinkin' Elite Eight anyway.

Back to Oakland: they aren't a great three-point shooting team by percentage, but they have the nation's best three-point shooter in terms of threes made. Jack Gohlke has made 121 threes on the year.

As many have said, our team doesn't like contact. How will these guys ever make it in the NBA?
I don't follow the the NBA except for the highlights I see at the gym which consist of LeBron running over people on his way to the rim.

Houston would neuter Justin Edwards. I’d be genuinely concerned about what that game might do to him.
