Will UK Make the Tournament?

If this team doesn’t make the tournament absolutely nothing will happen.

7-3 over the last 10 games would put us at 21-10, which would probably get us in barring an awful showing in the SEC tournament. Anything less than that and we’re probably out looking in.

I think a lot of NCAA eyes will be on our game at Rupp with Tennessee. We lay and egg that night and the win in Knoxville will look like a fluke.

If they beat Florida at home, Arkansas at home, and Mississippi St. on the road that's 3. That would give them 4 Quad 1's on the year.

I think that would probably get them in assuming they didn't disastrously lose a couple of the others.

I still believe 6-4 in the last 10 might do it. Probably would have to win at least one in the SEC Tournament however.

Yeah, will be very tough to beat Mississippi St. on the road. Ditto Arkansas on the road. Ditto Florida on the road. And Tennessee at home.

You lose those four and that means you have to win literally everything else.

Such is life. This is the hole we dug ourselves because we were atrocious for two solid months of the season.

When your coach says I am taking you out because they aren’t guarding you, as a player how should you respond? How about letting that player do some things on offense so they have to guard him?? They don’t guard Wheeler but he is allowed to stay in the game?? Is Cal becoming senile?

Cal made a comment a week or two ago about having team walkthrough's shoot arounds on game day and staying in the same hotel etc, just simple stuff like that. To be honest i was thinking to myself, "damn" you just now started doing this after all these years?", i thought things like this was simple fundamental mandatory daily stuff for a college basketball program, especially Kentucky..

Anyways, just hope we make the tournament this year. Once again my expectations for a solid UK campaign has been lowered to "just be happy to make the 64 dance" , unbelievable i even have to say that, not like we have a new coach rebuilding a program coming off probation...

Kentucky has done shootarounds for years. You can see videos of a lot of them on Twitter on gamedays.

Heck we did that in high school twentysomething years ago. UK is doing that stuff. Not sure what Cal's talking about. There's probably some missing context with that.

Staying in the same hotel is more interesting. I'd love to know the context behind that. There was talk a month or so ago that Oscar was kind of doing his own thing and may not be living with the other players. (Have no idea if that's true or not. I trust about 1% of what I read on UK boards.)

Although I don't *think* this team has chemistry issues at this point, or if they did they seem to've worked them out. They've been a pretty together team here recently.
