Two Quad 1 wins tonight with the Texas A&M win.

Kentucky should make a pretty big jump in the NET tomorrow.

Kentucky is sitting at a still pretty dangerous 40th in the NET. 2-7 in Quad 1 with Texas A&M and Tennessee now being our two biggest wins.

Last night did a lot for us...but we still have some work to do.

I saw it when it happened. It looked like he just bent his thumb back to far. Hope that's all it is.

Per Mark Story, A&M has a NET ranking of 31. So, not a Quad 1 win as of now.

As I said in the other thread, I *believe* (don't quote me on this) that the Quad 1's have to do with more than NET and are RPI-based.

One of those two teams--A&M or Mississippi St.--has to be our 2nd Quad 1 win. Not sure which. Nor does it really matter...but it might on Selection Sunday if we continue to sit on the bubble.

Win the next two games and we're safely in.

Quad 1 wins are based solely on Net ranking and where the game was played. The Net was a replacement for the RPI and is not factored into Net rankings.

Problem with our team is we will probably beat Tennessee on Saturday then go sub .500 to finish out the year and still be on the fence of making the tournament, just can't show up when you want to and take nights off...

After Tennessee beat Alabama, we would be in great position if we win Saturday. 2 wins over UT will go a long way in getting us in.

To not get in at this point they'd probably have to lose 3 of the last 4.

16 days later and the team should be securely in right now. Would be glad to be wrong. Hope they continue to finish out games even if they are not a work of beauty.

Kentucky is now 33rd in the NET and 4-7 against Quad 1 teams.

Easily in and probably in the 10ish seed range. If we could run the regular season table we'll likely be put in that 8/9 game the committee loves to put us in.

Vandy game will be tough. Read that their big guy had more free throw attempts (20) than the whole Auburn team did.
