good luck Mr Boston.....one of the more bizarre years I have seen with these kids. I thought Ben Simmons hung LSU out to dry......but I think we have two of those players.

Hope BJ lives his dreams but I got more enjoyment out of the UK careers of J Juzang, Jamal Baker, Michal Mulder, Isaac Humphries, Hami Diallo and J Vanderbilt than this top 5 recruit. Not trying to pile on the guy but just not enjoying the culture.

Doesn’t surprise me Boston leaving or Clarke. Cal brought them here to play one season and that’s exactly what they did. I suspect Brooks will leave and the fact that Toppin has said nothing so far is troubling. Sarr is gone and reading what Mintz has said leads me to believe he has packed as well. Could easily lose 7 players off of a 9 win ball club. This is the monster that Cal has created and it is’nt changing in one offseason. Unless Cal strikes oil in the transfer portal next year will be very mediocre. If that happens I suspect Cal will hang it up or move on, and leave us in a total mess, not that we aren’t now.Comment

Cal deserves heat but so does Mitch for giving him this dumbassed contract.Comment

Boston and Clarke could be addition thru subtraction. Brooks and Topin aren’t going anywhere, but does it matter one way or the other?
This is always one of the more interesting, most watched threads of the year, but right now, it just doesn’t seem to make any difference.Comment

Brooks could still leave. The 3-5 spots will be clogged, and he (and Cal) may be wondering where he fits in the rotation.Boston and Clarke could be addition thru subtraction. Brooks and Topin aren’t going anywhere, but does it matter one way or the other?

He has some talent, and I’d like to see what he could do with an injury-free season in a junior’s body. But yeah, I hear you. Under normal circumstances I wouldn’t say our success hinges upon his return.
But, these aren’t normal circumstances. We are so desperate for continuity, for both on- and off-court reasons, that I’d take pretty much any non-walk-on returnee just to help us cleanse the Transfer U perception.
Continuity is a must right now.Comment
