As for me, I’m in the midst of non traditional instruction , which is consuming most of my time. However, I believe it’s just an adjustment to that type of service delivery. As long as everyone hangs in there with me, it should be okay. Our main source of income though, is commercial refrigeration. That, I don’t know about. When the phone stops ringing, it will affect a lot of people. We’ve been in business for 43 years, and it’s too late to change. We do work for a few clients whose businesses won’t be affected, but I’m not sure if that will be enough.

Business as usual for my wife and I. She works at Target and is getting all the hours she wants. I work at UPS. We never shut down for anything. Life goes on. While we may not be able to go to some places I don't mind it really. Been playing games with the family. They have been painting some. I may have to try my hand at it. They haven't shut any lakes or WMAs down so I will go fishing friday. Been trying to not listen to all the chicken littles out there. There is SO MUCH misinformation out there. Maybe there is a sikver lining to all this. Perhaps it makes a person take some stock of their life. Perhaps they realize that they really don't need it all. Maybe it's time to get serious about saving money and living on less than you make?Last edited by Blue Heaven; 03-25-2020, 04:24 PM.Isaiah 5:20Comment

Thanks Matt and Catsrock. You guys stay safe. I appreciate all you do. Praying for all.Lighthouse, they would induce coma to help protect her. Hard telling why, she might have experienced seizures for example or they could simply be trying to reduce her metabolic demands to help her body address other areas of need. Regardless, it would indicate that she is exceedingly critically ill.John 3:3

You're certainly welcome but I don't intend to give the impression that I'm on the front lines of this pandemic. I wear a surgical mask and gloves with each of the few patients I see these days. In the 2 counties I practice there are yet to be confirmed cases. Once the are I am instructed even for things I normally handle easily--if a patient has an eye problem but is known to have Covid19-I am supposed to send them to UK or UL where they are better equipped to protect their staff. We practice all recommended preventative measures now but are not supposed to allow any known carriers on the building.
Everyone be careful and safe!Comment

Just as of tonight. About 5 percent of Kentuckians who take the test come back positive. Closer to 6, I believe it was 5.8.
The state of Tennessee, which h has many more verified cases, has also given MANY, many more tests. Rate of positive infection is 7.2 percent.
as of tonight, these are up to date numbers using tests given and result received. So APPROXIMATELY 93 of 100 people tested for CV19
Have come back negative in Kentucky and Tennessee.
just numbers.Comment

I am retired. I miss going out with my friends and our Thursday visit to our local brewery. And, of course, seeing my great granddaughter. With the weather so nice, have gotten together with a few friends outside. We strictly observe social distancing. With the weather changing,Comment

Just an update on the probability of college gb this fall. I saw, on Twitter, this morning where Gov. Beshear said he would be hesitant to put 60,000 fans together in a confined setting this fall. He did say he is monitoring the situation on a daily basis.

We are in desperate need of an effective vaccine and slam dunk treatment. Until then, large or small meetings of people is spectacularly risky and a really bad idea. I agree also. Seems like TV money will be the only dollars college athletics will get for awhile.John 3:3

Is it a good idea to have sporting events without fans? Sounds like lawsuit city to me as in...."my son got sick playing FB just so TV stations and schools could make money!" Rosters, coaching staffs, equipment managers, all adds up quick. And most will spend time in a locker room in close proximity to each other. All that needs to happens is have ONE player get sick playing college FB, during a pandemic, and then die, and the you know what will hit the fan in a big way.Comment
