Personally I can't stand buzz. I don't have much love for a coach that teaches his players to flop. I'm surprised they didn't flop on three point attempts.

I like his enthusiasm, but would be embarrassed if any Ky coach did that.

Good win in a tough atmosphere. Man, all Texas aTm teams put it out there, even if they aren't loaded with all american talent.

That's the first time I've watched A&M this year. Nebo is a bull down low. That's a good win in a scrappy game. That shows we can still control a game with Nick being ineffective. It's even bigger because Duke just lost at wake Forest. We can make a serious run at a two seed.

This should have been a 20+ point blowout.
            The spread was 7.

            23-5, 13-2, another road win.

But, by all means, continue placing all your focus on the team's shortcomings.

Just don't tell that to Lunardi. That guy has too much influence if you ask me. In his eyes, we moved down a seed after going winning our previous two games. Duke lost tonight so they will probably move up. I can't stand that guy.

Good road win in a tough environment tonight. Quickley is scorching hot right now and is in the drivers seat for SEC POY. Don't look now but we are playing some pretty good ball right now. Outside of Kansas and Baylor, who I feel are the two best teams, is anyone playing better than we are?

They either pay attention to Lunardi or he must have their formula. There is zero reason for a guy working for ESPN should have any effect on the selection committee but he usually has it spot on by the end and it makes you wonder. Personally I can't see why we're not a 3 right now with a good shot at a 2.

I've watched a ton of ball this season. Clearly no one is dominant and I'll include KU and Baylor in that. There was a time UL was said to be separating from the pack. Now they suck. Same for Ohio State. KU and Baylor are playing well currently but are not great.

My biggest problem with bracketology right now is they intend to put 9 of the 12 Big10 reams in the tourney. We may well go 16-2 and run away with the SEC and have a couple Big10 schools seeded ahead of us. They are now the darling of the committee that the old Big East was and they're not that good. Penn St? Give me a break (actually that's one team I've barely seen play--but you vet my point).

I really am liking this team!
We have 5 guys that we can depend on (EJ with 8 points & 10 boards) not just 1 or 2.
Our depth and the turnovers do concern me, but I think we'll get the to's under control and I just keep hoping Brooks or JJ will step up and be a good 15 minute contributor.

I missed the first half because of my kids' bedtimes, but it sounds like EJ had a nice first half and is starting to turn himself into the player he was thought to be.

If he becomes that player this team could do something in March.

E.J. was great last night until he nearly got concussed.

Quickley pretty much locked up the SEC POY with that performance. What a player.

Kentucky's halfcourt offense stalls too much. A few reasons for it, namely a lack of solid outside shooters around Quickley. We also need one more guy who can bust open the defense off the dribble.

But we played relatively well and did what we needed to do on the road. Richards was the Old Richards but I didn't think our guards did a great job of getting the ball to him. Thought Sestina came in and gave us some solid minutes, which is another must for March.

                            Big one coming Saturday.

If you remove Evansville Kentucky is in serious play for a 1.

A 2 isn't outside the realm of possibility. But honestly I don't think it's that big of a deal this year. Playing your best ball on Selection Sunday is the most crucial thing. In soft fields like this you might be better served if you get the 1 seed early.

Only thing is you want to probably dodge Kansas if you can. I wouldn't mind being a 3 with Duke as our 2.

I assume Kansas will choke at some point before the Final Four.

Kentucky's inability to blow out anyone coupled with the Evansville loss is the biggest hindrance, IMO.
