The rumor over on Rivals all day has been that Washington got hurt toward the end of the Tennessee game. I didn't see anything that happened but maybe there was an ankle sprain or something the camera didn't catch.
I still get chills when I think of Jarred Vanderbilt's walking boot last year. We thought that was going to be no big deal and it just never resolved itself.
Cal obviously won't play these guys if there's any doubt at all. He'll have to be absolutely 100%. -
T.J. Walker†@TJWalkerRadio 36s37 seconds ago I was told that P.J. Washington is expected to play this weekend. Walking boots aren't what they used to be regarding an injury so him being in a walking boot, while it's something, doesn't mean it's serious whatsoever.Comment

Certainly not the news you want to hear leading up to the NCAAT. But, hopefully it really is minor and he will be able to play and be fine.
I know UK has to be cautious and can only share limited information but their track record of injuries and the severity/time frame is pretty piss poor as of late.👍 1Comment

Somebody on that Rivals thread mentions that he remembers Tyler Ulis wearing a walking boot most of his sophomore season.
You know, I think I remember that now. Seemed like there were constant rumors that he was hurt but I don't think he missed any time.Comment

Ryan Lemond said he had an MRI today. Doesn't know results. I'm sure they're just being thorough. He may have some lingering pain in his foot or ankle.Comment

We all hope this is nothing. I sure had no idea he hurt himself in the ut game, and nothing was said about it.John 3:3

The latest that I have heard is that MRI was negative, but may have torn tendon in foot. Not going to play Thursday or Saturday. Will reevaluate before Sweet 16 game. Dad doesn't want him to play.
Hopefully that is all false.....smhComment

Not disputing what you heard but it makes no sense. It cannot be both a negative MRI and then have a torn tendon. A torn tendon would certainly show up on a MRI.Comment
