Its August but I wish PJ appeared to be a much better free throw shooter than last year. So far not so good.

Hagans has a little Rajon Rondo to him. All over the ball with a relentless ferocity.

Saw a couple of very solid minutes from E.J. Montgomery. The thing for him will be whether or not he can guard other versatile bigs. Has to be able to stay in front of people.

Keldon Johnson and Reid Travis could turn out to be the best two players we have, and neither did anything much that half. Have to think that will change in the last 20:00.

Who would have thought Nick Richards would be your best player in the 1st half? If he has improved that much its going be tough for any opponent down low.

Its gong to be hard to keep Herro out of the starting lineup. He looks like a basketball player. He will be a fan favorite from the start.

Hagans looks quick but I don't think he can shoot a lick. He should have a ton of steals this year.

I wouldn't take a whole lot from this game. Its obvious they haven't had time to work on much. No defense at all.

UK is on the floor playing a competitive game so yes I’m concerned how they play, if your not fine bont ridicule those of us that do.

Guy with the bun on top of his head has been the best player on the court.

Reid Travis looks straight up scared. Not sure what the deal is there. Probably has been told by so many UK fans over the last month and a half that he's going to drag us to a national title and he's a bit spooked.

Keldon Johnson showed on that last move that he could be a superstar. Human truck.

Having a really hard time getting the ball to fall in for him though. Maybe these foul shots will get him going.

Tyler Herro was mentioned as being confident and I believe it. The dude just goes right at it. I think the guy that mentioned him as a starter (Rothstein?) may have known what he was talking about.

Travis should play that same way on the other block. Just bruise people.

This is going to be a power team when Johnson, Travis, and PJ are in. Just flog people down on the block and make them terrified to bring the ball inside.
