Injured his knee in high school. Not sure if he'll be healthy all season. I think he hurt it in January or February of this year.

They definitely have more parts that probably fit better. They sort of have it all position-wise. If this is the Richards we're going to get, we've got a center, powerful power forwards, an electric wing in Johnson, a couple of capable shooting guards including a stud with Herro, and two solid point guards who play different ways.

One thing they probably don't have is the top-end talent that team had. Not sure this bunch has a Towns, Davis, or a Wall/Cousins. (Though Johnson might be close.)

Also, should have a really nice stretch forward in EJ Montgomery.

Sort of a coach's dream in terms of the parts and pieces this team has. And as we've seen, they play with a tremendous amount of intensity. Keldon Johnson is a guy who plays the game like a crazy person. That will be infectious.

All really good signs when you're looking at things title teams usually have. The only thing I haven't been able to get a read on is the point guard situation, but that may be in flux for months.

I forgot about Payne, and don't know much about him. We have played 3 very physical teams and matched them muscle to muscle. This alone will help us tremendously down the stretch, Would love to see a few minutes from Montgomery and Brown, but I doubt this happens. For what it's worth, this is the same officiating crew that worked the games the last time we played in the Bahamas. The Hamptom brothers and Mr Lenox.

Got to watch the game in its entirety.

I loved how PJ Washington was playing. Although Travis missed several shots you have to think he starts getting better quality attempts and subsequently becomes a very high percentage option. Keldon Johnson places hard all the time but he also roots hard when he's not on the floor. Great game from Quade BTW.

Also, I'm an Ashton Hagans man. Guy's bad to the bone.

I do worry that we end up having some potential for having difficulty getting everybody enough minutes to stay happy, especially when EJ Montgomery is healthy. We have a ton of capable players.

Haven't seen any games thus far but I am headed to the 'ol watering hole this afternoon to check out the game. CANNOT WAIT!!! I haven't been this excited pre-season in a really long time.

Johnson is what you might call salty. Guy is going to absolutely infuriate guys this year. Liggins-esque.
