Jeez-O-Cripe!!! First team AA??? A lot of karmic signs aligning in our favor. I could care less who starts...don't think it matters.

I'm guessing the roster for the new season is finalized. The link to it is below according Big Blue History. One trivia note, the first player to play at UK born in the 2000's will be on the roster this year. Tyler Herro was born January 20, 2000. No birthdate was listed for Zan Payne. Probably a good chance he was born in the 2000's also.

      Kentucky fan since 1971.

Also, Travis is the first from Minnesota to play at UK.

Yes I just read that. Big Blue History had all the states on the map where UK players came from. Surprisingly UK has never had a player from South Carolina. All the other states they didn't I could understand because of low population. But South Carolina surprised me.

Kevin Garnett and Jermaine O'Neal come to mind as two who were close. Then, obviously at one point we all thought Zion would be the first.

That's interesting. I wonder how many states UK has played a game in?

Here you go. Looks like about 11 they have not played in. More than I would have thought. I also saw another map of opponents by state. North Dakota is the only state in which UK has not played anyone.

                  The return of swaggy Cal.

Got a little swaggy--just a teensy bit--very late last year when we went on that winning streak. But for the most part he seemed pretty worried. I noted before the season that he seemed alarmed at his roster. Almost a calendar year later, I still believe that. Think the miss of Trae Young made the whole thing sort of perilous and up in the air.

                  Now? Not so much.

I guess a late second round pick can be worth a team taking a chance on for a guy who might be bothered throughout a career with foot problems or could make a turnaround & be a productive player!!!!

Been away for a bit but this news is great. Can't say anything that already hasn't been said. We are going to be really good next season. Travis is the best transfer in years and we got him. Good times are coming.
