Yeah I hear you there. I have been a MASSIVE NFL fan for years now. It's wearing on me now for reasons I won't talk about here. Just play the damn game. The NBA has no problem doing it. I don't understand why it's so hard for the NFL.

For me it's just the constant need for the NFL to stay in the news. First it's the NFL draft, then the summer workouts, then the preseason games, then the actual games, then the season that seems to stretch to 7 days a week now, then the playoffs, then the 2 weeks leading up to the super bowl, then the off seasons.. and this doesn't even touch the perpetual ransom the owners hold over their cities for a new stadium on the public dime. They've reached saturation for me. Just let me enjoy the season then let's catch back up in September.

We dont agree on alot of things but i am in the same boat, i do not have interest or the time to watch sporting events and i rarely watch movies anymore. Unless UK is playing in a big game, i kind of zone in and out alot of times during the regular season games, just seems like my attention span is less now a days.

Speaking of kids, hope all is well with yours. I started to comment on it over in the other section in regards your newborn. I have a 23 and 17 year old and will be a grandfather in May but also recently found out my wife is due in October I thought i was coming down the home stretch and now at the age of 44, i am starting all over again

If you're anything like me (I have an 8 month old), you'll think of a zillion other things to do with your time when he sleeps. Once you get him on a schedule though, it gets a lot easier but you'll still want to do other things with your time.

Yeah. When I'm home, any time not devoted to him is usually spent on work. I feel so behind on everything - house and job - but I only have the remainder of this month until the semester ends and I'm off work until September. Hopefully I can do some catching up after finals.
