Shai Gilgeous-Alexander declares for the NBA.

The craziest one-and-done story this side of Eric Bledsoe.

Some indications from some fairly reliable insiders on another site that Diallo and Gabriel are next.

If true we end up losing 6 players instead of 5

That's comical, compared to NBA players, both of these players are flat out garbage....

From now on if a player doesn't want to be at Kentucky, goodbye and goodluck, not ever going to worry about it again....

It's really becoming comical. In pro sports a player will have the best year of his life during a contract year and ends up getting a mega deal only to be a bust from there on out, kind of how i see some of our players when they have a few good games and then think they are now ready pro material, it's a crazy trend...

I've heard that Gabriel may just want to go overseas. The rumor around Rivals has been for a couple months that his family is very poor and that he needs the money, and he's willing to go the Isaac Humphries/Isaiah Briscoe route.

Have no idea if that's true. Sometimes things start going on Rivals and people just sort of get into this echo chamber thing.

It is odd that we haven't heard much about Gabriel at all. However it shakes out, that guy would get pummeled in the NBA. If he leaves Kentucky then he might try it out, but pro basketball in the United States simply isn't happening.

You can't begrudge stories like that without making being poor a character defect. But man it would be nice to not have a new team every single season.

That's almost exactly what JJ said, but I disagree. How many of us would do anything to help not only our family, but most anyone who needs help. Gabriel is a decent player and wants to use his talent to improve the lives of those he loves. I hope he stays, but their needs might make his decision difficult.

If i am being honest, i been drinking this KOOL AIDE lately and getting on that ticked off train when players go pro or decide to transfer.

Honestly, goodbye, don't let the door hit you in the rear, if you don't want to be here i don't want you here.

Let's be honest, this year's team actually sucked for the most part, poor basketball. Maybe Cal is smarter than we think, MAYBE he don't want him here either, he wants new players, he's seen enough. Cal knows what he has day in and day out and what they can do, maybe he's ready for players that actually get it? Maybe Cal is tired of some of these kids making him look like a idiot and a urine poor coach??

I say GOODBYE because you not that good anyways!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All this FANTASY us UK fans have in our heads about a veteran team with 5 star freshman with balance is for the birds, these players are not here to help UK win a Championship, they here to go pro because the NBA says that's the way it is. If Green, SKJ, and Gabriel really wanted to help the school win a Championship, they would stay, same with Washingon, Diallo, even Vanderbilt. I can't blame Knox, he will make it, he has all the tools and will get better but SGA we may never hear from again....

                              I highly doubt this.

I think he definitely believes a lack of experience was one of the major problems this past year and he'd love to not be so young. Only way to do that is get players back and have them grow up and mature, but as we all know it's extremely difficult for Kentucky to do that.

Most freshmen have major warts and just aren't tough enough to play with grown men. That's the case everywhere. If you build a team completely full of them you're likely going to get what we saw this past year.

But I do think Cal would like to up the talent level a little. I'm not sure if he actually did it but if Ashton Hagans and Keldon Johnson are as good as they appear then we seem to've gotten two stars. Have to return a couple of older guys around them.

If you can't show Cal what you got in 2 years, i don't think he wants you here to be honest. He is used to elite talent and i don't think he has the time for good college players non pro material unless he absolutely has to. He has made it clear that he's playing his freshman above and beyond all no matter what the cost, it's how he sells them to Kentucky and he sticks to his word.....
