Best of Luck to Knox....I actually can't wait to see the selection show to see who lands the money slots outside of Top 3 and who slides into the 2nd round (no guarantee contract) or ends up not drafted...especially, our guys. Coach always attends the draft and sits at the table but I'm predicting he's going to have (potentially) 2 players called in the first round and the first name will be called somewhere around 10 or later...

No. I understand the decision and don’t begrudge him in the least. Doesn’t mean I’m happy about losing another good player.

If anyone but Knox, Shai, Hami (entered last yr, returned, forgone conclusion to go) and Wenyen (for age and family situation readons) leave to play professionally (transfers are different and don't begrudge anyone for transferring) ....then I feel your pain.

Just expect it from players like Knox. I don't understand how you can be unhappy about losing a player who was always going to be one and done....

The ones that frustrate me are the ones that are borderline at best.... Teague, Dakari, etc...

That remains to be seen. Could just as easily make recruits think twice if they believe they’re one-and-done.

It’s what I want Cal to do, but if it doesn’t yield results then I’m not sure I see the benefit.

You cant lose 4-5 guys off a mediocre 10+ loss team and sustain any kind of success.

Question: I can't remember but might this be the first time that Cal has had to sit and wait a bit for his first players name to be called in the draft?
This is going to be an unusual draft for Cal to be in attendance...not his norm.
