Their effort hasn't been there. They have played ZERO defense all game. It looks like they haven't been trying.

I get realism when we're going through a four-game losing streak.

When we're in the Final Four not so much. My feeling about the games we win, and the games we might win going forward, isn't that the teams are weak. I wonder why the so-called powerful teams couldn't beat them when they were playing them.

I'm actually surprised that so many around here aren't more cautiously optimistic.

Joneslab I think my reservations are pretty reasonable, but if I'm grating on people I'll refrain from getting into it any further.

Because cautious optimism tends to take the joy out of something that's supposed to be fun.

I'm sure we all are having fun away from the board. Message boards bring out a sort of analytical nature that makes it look like people are not really excited. I know in real life we all get pumped.

Exactly. If you watched games with me in person, you'd hardly see or hear any of what you get from me around here.

That's also why I don't understand those who take this place so seriously. This isn't real life.

I think we have been great the last 5 games. We've hit our stride, so to speak. I am still not a bit confident we can beat Duke, Kansas or Xavier. Just don't think we are at that level.

Fortunately, we won't have to beat them all though. And in a one game thing....who knows.

Let's face it. We are LUCKY to be in this position. The best seed remaining in the South.....after 2 friggin rounds. LOL. Hope we take advantage.

It's NCAA time. I've doubted this team all year. Pretty tired of it. And as I said before, anything beyond the Sweet 16 with this bunch is pure gravy to me. It's already been a successful season, imo.

If we're in the Final Four I don't care who we play. I can remember our recent runs but going back to the '90s I couldn't tell you who those teams played. All I recall is that we hung banners.

And I do think getting to the Final Four is a major accomplishment. You shouldn't throw a parade if you get beat but that's a great season.
