Game Thread UK vs Davidson

So let me ask this, the fact we didn't hit a three does it concern anyone at all moving foward?

I did until it ended, but not any more. Now my priorities are on winning our next game. All streaks will end and ours did last night.

There have been several games this season where it looked like the 3 streak could come to an end. I'd find myself rooting for a 3 when all we should be doing was taking what the defense was giving us. In that I don't want UK to be looking for a 3 late in a close game when that may not be our best option I am sort of glad the streak is over. It's kind of like an unnecessary pressure is off. Davidson was just not a team we needed to be shooting 3's against when we had a small lead late in the game. We were correct to be taking it into the paint and making freethrows. And it's not like we had the longest streak anyway.

When we have a Lamb, Booker, Murray or Monk it never even comes to mind. This year it was just pressure.

Still ticked about the 3 streak but with so much parity and the 3 point shot that keeps non powerhouse teams on a playing field with bigger teams, a win is a win and I'll take it...
