You're not the coach. Cal's the coach. You don't have any real reason to be negative unless you just love to be negative. You're missing out on a great run because you're so focused on the littlest things. Just sit back and enjoy. Be in misery watching these games if you choose, but I think it's the wrong way to go.

Crazzed watches the games and posts his thoughts in real time. Many of the things he posts are things being said all throughout the viewing area, in living rooms, bars, what-have-you's, so I don't really get it when people seem to squirm when a person has a negative take on a play, call, etc.
Crazzed gets ripped for the hyperbole and his consistency, I understand, but I think it also needs to be said that there's nothing wrong with commenting on the plays and airing those thoughts. He's not attacking any player personally.
Just because we're 19-0 does not mean everything is perfect.
There ya go crazzed, I took up for you.

Missed the game, but it's fun reading the posts on this thread. Up until the last 2 pages, you would think Kentucky was losing.

Ton of offensive rebounds on wild, crazy shots. South Carolina shot about 15 shots today that were either airball or hit the backboard going ninety miles an hour.
We also challenged a ton of shots. Had three or four players trying to block shots on a bunch of possessions and were out of position for the offensive rebound.Comment

Two things, I think.
Will's right that some of it is crazy bounces, but the bigger things are that we
1) go for the blocked shot. Sometimes, not only the primary defender, but also the help big is going up for the shot. So, we end up not in position for the second shot.
2) We don't block out that well. Cal teaches two hands for the ball. He wants his players to go get the ball. He's said as much MANY times. The side effect of that is that they don't play great position wise.
If it were Tubby, it would be different. BUT, I mean different. Not necessarily better. I did not like the final product of Tubby's teams.
Chuck Hayes alone could outrebound all of Cal's bigs outside of maybe Cousins, IMO, because he would have them on is back, and probably be drawing fouls. BUT, they would be demolishing his shooting into the third row.Comment

A win on the road in the SEC is a good thing. The game was not pretty but every team we play from now until the end of the season is going to be gunning for us especially on the road. A 15 point win over the Game****************s in Columbia is something that I will take any day. I am pleased with the CATS and I was also pleased at the number of UK fans in Columbia yelling the Big Blue home to victory also was a pleasing thing to see and hear.
Will we win all of our games this season? Probably not but I hope that Virginia loses first. We do have a remarkable team this year and an excellent chance of bringing home the NCAA tournament winner banner. We do make mistakes but we have made some mistakes all year. Still I like the way we are able to shut our opponents down.Comment
