For all the hype and ballyhooness (is that a word?) that was the 2012 team, the facts show that we had more than a few games like this. Some folks just need to take a chill pill and sit back and relax and enjoy the results. This team is REALLY good defensively. Probably the best team on that side of the ball I have ever seen. The offense will come around. Always does.

19-0.....Love it..anytime we can get a road win in the SEC it is a good thing...

      Our defense is suffocating

Our offense could use a tune up..can't go 8 minutes without a FG against a better team

      But....I LOVE THIS TEAM

Kentucky turned the ball over twice.

Cal is starting to play like Tubby Smith wanted to play when he was here. But this is Tubbyball on steroids.

Can you imagine this defense with the passing crispness of the 2003 team? YIKES!!!

C'mon Dude. If you saw effort being a problem, there's simply no hope for you. I'm not thrilled about the rebounding at all but you have to remember we play switching defense. The guards must contribute.

2 of our hard road tests (Bama) (USC) and we are 2-0 in those games that is good. Now we have Florida, Georgia, LSU and Tennessee as the other hard road games. Keep it up CATS.

Normally UT is not a road concern for me, unless they decide to defend this year. Unless that happens, I predict Gawga will be a much closer game.

Fla. and LSU won't be easy regardless of the circumstances imo.

Yeah I thought they played with pretty incredible effort. You have to in order to defend like that.

That Carrera guy outworked them a little on the glass, but he also rebounded a lot of wild misses. When teams are throwing shots off the side of the backboard it's tough to board.

And speaking of that guy: how good of a rec league is he going to be in 10 years? Clear the gym.

Funny I get blasted on here and now in Cal's post game press conference he is saying the exact same things..... guess he is an idiot as well and only sees the negative. Guess we need a new coach.

The only thing that I really care about is the scoreboard at the end of the game. So far KY has been on the right side of that scoreboard. I really don't care how they got there.

He was the only guy that didn't look like a scared chicken for them.

I've really been impressed with Lee lately. It appears he's lifted their defense to a new level. I wasn't sure that was possible. Booker and Ulis are doing likewise for the offense and not backing down an inch on defense either. Good times to be a Cat despite the Chicken Little's.

Lee's put together two very good games in a row. Good sign for the team going forward.

Towns has caught most of Calipari's ire in the postgame press conference. He isn't ready for a game like that. Not tough enough yet.

Willie Cauley-Stein becomes the first player in UK history to record 200 blocks and 100 steals in his career.
