I'm having a hard time seeing why Cal would be involved with an Adidas shoe rep.

My Papa must be spinning in his grave(graduated from UL twice, but LOVED UK). I'd love to hear the explanation as to what, precisely, Pitino and Jurich are thinking. Do these jackasses REALLY think they could, allegedly, do this? NOTHING was learned from the hooker deal?? Both of these slimeballs need to be tarred and feathered and run out of Louisville sooner rather than later. After a fair trial of course. I hope and pray they both go to prison. Pitino can take his HOF award and stuff it where the sun don't shine. Someone please tell me a dirtier, sorrier, more pathetic "university" on this planet. I'd love to hear it.

Not until the FBI or Justice Department releases all the info they have. The only names I have seen are the assistants at Oklahoma State, USC, Auburn and Arizona. But it sounds like more are coming. I think I read there will be presser from the Justice Depart at noon.

Now it's being reported that at "School 6" (Louisville), there are three players involved and two coaches.

And apparently one of the coaches who requested the arrangements said that their head coach "swings a big dick."

Because he's a college basketball coach who works the AAU circuit, and Adidas is a large presence at those functions.

I'm not saying I think Cal's involved, but Kevin's right: this could include literally any D-1 school/coach.

Eaves suggested that the scandal may be huge and specifically mentioned it going beyond the assistant coaches. I take that to mean that the head coaches of these schools might be caught up in these wiretaps.

I just saw that tweeted out. It is funny to read.

I guess - I had just assumed this was confined to Adidas schools, but if Arizona is implicated, it's clearly not.

                          Why can't it be both?

You wonder if any of the head coaches will survive this even if they are not implicated?

Also read that Austin Wiley was probably the one at Auburn who got paid. He had a nice career at Auburn.

If Pitino isn't implicated, he'll certainly survive. I'd bet my life on it.
