In all honesty I dont see how the banner stays. I know its unprecedented and I dont know why theyre basically making Louisville hang themselves, but theyve already admitted to the NCAA what happened. Pictures prove who did it and the testimony from the recruits/players reinforces that. I dont see how they can take UMass' and Memphis' FF banners and not take Louisvilles FF and title banner.

Thats the cherry on top of all this. Forde talked SO much smack when we hired Cal. The only way this would be sweeter would be to make he and Rick physically cut the banner down themselves lol.

I don't care what Cal says. Those clowns deserve every bit of roasting that gets thrown their way. The majority of their fanbase has been harping about Cal being dirty and Kentucky being filhty for years. So I'm going to enjoy kicking dirt up in their face at any opportunity. Forget 'em.👍 1Comment

There are chants that I've thought have gone over the line - the 'Walsh is gay' chants to Matt Walsh from Florida back in the early 2000's being one of them. Making fun of Rick Pitino and Louisville over hookers is not one of those chants.
Getting their title vacated is pretty darn satisfying to watch. The only thing more satisfying would be watching U of L fans having to personally return championship shirts at a community center the way they have gun buybacks in bad parts of town.Comment

I have read a good part of the report. Absolutely devastating. AND all avoidable.
for all the Louisville fans I've locked horns with, this is proof glass houses exist.
For those three to five I know and have shared some laughs and we'll deserved ribbing from both sides, Im strangely sorry this happened.
As Charles Barkley once said about a fiasco in pro ball....this is bad for the game.

My guess is that was in reference to the scandal when the the official was caught taking bribes to affect the outcome of games. That was bad for the game. If fans have a real reason to question the integrity of the game it's an awful thing.
This on the other hand feels like a program breaking the rules in an egregious way and getting caught and punished. I'd call that justice. And worthy of ridicule. And bad for THEIR game but not necessarily THE game.
But yes I am biased. I do not like U of L athletics.Last edited by Catsrock; 06-20-2017, 08:34 PM.Comment

The letter than Rick Pitino penned to the "Friends Of The Ville" (biggest boosters) is absolutely astonishing in its level of tone-deaf ineptness. One of those "Friends" leaked the letter to KSR and apparently the Louisville brass is hoppin' mad. Complete lack of self-awareness:
