Could be virtually nothing (unlikely)
Could be Pitino suspension and loss of scholarships (likely)
Could be another postseason ban (maybe)
Could be vacating of wins achieved with ineligible players, including 2012 Final Four and 2013 Championship (unlikely but not impossible)

The NCAA has a presser at noon followed at 12:30 with one that will have Pitino and Jurich. My guess is that Pitino will get some sort suspension like Boeheim got a few years back. They could lose a scholarship or two but that will be it. I 'm afraid the ones hoping for a total axing of their program will be sorely disappointed.

I'm not expecting much to come of this. Maybe a Pitino suspension but I don't think much more than that (unfortunately).

I could really care less but for many years all i heard from U of L fans was Kentucky fans are A. Racist or B. Cheaters. Long story short, i think all programs have a few skeletons in the closet.................

My gut is telling me Pitino will get a severe tongue lashing in written form, and Pitino will get a 10-15 gm suspension and they may get another postseason ban....

I'm not ruling out a very severe punishment though.....I'm going back and forth on it....

If nothing else happens except for a Pitino suspension and a scholarship reduction, the NCAA needs to be disbanded.

They paid hookers for dances and sex acts in a college dorm to persuade recruits to come to Louisville. Then used these players/recruits to win a National Championship.

They aren't going to lose their championship. Despite all the shady stuff that's come to light over the years in programs around the country, the NCAA has yanked a championship ONCE in the modern era.

Should UofL lose their banner? Of course. But they won't.
