According to Rick himself, five minutes ago, he plans to stay at Louisville and win "multiple championships." Like Matt Jones tweeted, he should focus on winning his first one, at this point.Comment

How can you appeal the NCAA when they are the law?? They make up there own rules as they go, Louisville is just going to be wasting more of the state's taxpayers money on lawyers and fees and still going to lose. There should be a rule that says if you appeal and still lose, then you get the death penalty lol lol lol lolComment

Scott Drew better stay where he's at and not get tied up with all that mess in Louisville. Besides, the west end isn't too far from the YUM center and they are killing likes it Chicago down there, nobody wants that job period.Comment

If for some reason John Calipari does something here that gets our wins and Championships vacated, that man had better pack and leave with the quickness, Jay Z, Drake, and the Illuminati not going to be able to save him.................👍 1Comment

Of course not. Many people always accuse Cal of this or that but Cal is smarter than all that. Point i am trying to make is that IF Cal did pull some shady stuff, them backwoods UK fans would literally have the pitch forks out, i do believe that....................Comment

Yeah. Okay. And the sideshow known as Brian Bowen is the player who'll kick the whole thing off.👍 1Comment

Agreed. From Metro Conference to CUSA to Big East to ACC--cesspool antics got UL where they want to be. Jurich still their hero and it's all been worth it. Heck...this crap only galvanized their fanbase. Us against the world mentality. To me it's a sad sociological experiment...no amount of scumbaggery will turn a fan from their team! Just deny the proven truth.Comment

Well not everyone likes the trade-off of Cal's system. We get the best players but there is constant turnover. But I truly believe that it provides him with all the recruiting currency he needs--along with our tradition. I really doubt there are $1000 handshakes or grades for fake classes going on when all the top players know Cal will get them to the big $ as quick as their abilities will allow.
It may make for the cleanest recruiting pitch the game has known.
And I agree...if it's ever proven that I am wrong and that he's filthy I'd be the first to call for housecleaning rather than cover-up and excuses to keep him.
For instance...if he told D. Rose's brother to go take his SAT for him...no thanks, I'd be out.
I think Rose found a way to cheat before going to Memphis. I think Camby hired an agent without asking Cal's opinion. For crying out loud Cal's the one who reported it.
Maybe it's easy to see things the way you want to see them but I respect Cal and am glad to have him. Any other coach call and think the Capitol police yesterday?Comment

I know it is Louisville and I know they had it coming, but for some reason I take little joy in this ruling. That is due in very large part to my feelings about the NCAA. They are whimsical, capricious, uneven, often absurd and frequently Draconian in their rulings. Sure, UofL cheated. But, what about UNC? Why has there still been no action there after years and years of classroom scandal? There is an old, old saying -- "the enemy of my enemy is my friend." And, make no mistake about it -- while we all dislike UofL, some of us pretty strongly, the NCAA is everyone's enemy.Comment

Almost everyone's. Certain untouchables like Duke and apparently UNC better love the NCAA. They benefit greatly from them.
But personally I feel no sorrow for UL. I feel they knew how they were doing business--glad their scapegoat strategy didn't workLast edited by Catsrock; 06-15-2017, 03:20 PM.Comment
