Rumors are jjust that, rumors. No way Alford would allow anything out that could have an effect on the tourney.

This might end up as one of the most one sided brackets ever. On one side you have Gonzaga, Xavier, South Carolina/Baylor, Florida/Wisconsin. On the other you have Kentucky, Kansas, North Carolina, UCLA and Oregon. The NCAA were giving Duke the Final 4 and they still screwed it up lol.

But they screwed us and the other "Blue Bloods" as well. We are used to it though. The selection committee has been giving us a raw deal since Cal has been here. We keep winning though. It would be nice to have an easy draw though.

Agreed. 3 of the top 6 teams in America in the final poll are in one bracket, while Xavier is a game away from the final four.

Puzzling decisions by Michigan and West Virginia last night, especially WVU. They had a TON of time and that's what was drawn up? Huggy Bear is a good coach and I find it hard to believe that is what he wanted.

West Virginia has absolutely no frontcourt presence and it hurt them. Hard to win in the tournament if you're that unbalanced.

That said, I thought they got a bad whistle all night. Was almost as if the officials had no idea how to call a game that frenetic. On the last drive where the white guy tried to dunk it, it looked like he got mugged. There were so many touch fouls against WVU that it's amazing they let that go. Of course Gonzaga promptly went down and drained the game-winning three.
