I've been telling y'all since I came back to this site that Villanova was a paper number 1. And that I hoped they would be the 1 seed in our bracket if we weren't a 1 seed. And Wisc is not all that good.

Villanova gets that east coast bias from the talking heads. They are over seeded every year and they flame out early. Last year they got lucky. They were not the best team, just the last team standing.

Last year was the aberration. Not this one. This is what they are.

Of course dUKe got in their bracket. Only reason dUKe didn't get in Gonzaga's bracket is because the committee wants to keep them closer to home.

Villanova didn't have much depth but I think they were a good team. Wisconsin has been to Sweet 16 4 straight years. I sure don't think this is one of Wisconsin's best but many on that team have a lot of tourney experience.

I think Nova was a legit #1, for two reasons:
1: The did just win the championship, last year.
2: Someone HAD to be a #1. Nova just happened to not lose at the right time of the year.

But, I agree with you. They were no power #1. Eventually, the season ends and you have to seed teams.

It most certainly a missed call, but he got his T for being out on the floor, complaining, and the official who called the T was in the lead position and had no idea what he was complaining about. Goaltending is not reviewable, but it might be now.

a terrible call. You can review a 3 point shot but not goal tending. Takes the same amount of time. Makes no sense.

Technically it's basket interference. You quoted my post while I was editing it. The reason the lead official didn't know what the coach was complaining about, he isn't supposed to look up there, that call falls to the other two.

Agggh! *#@#$%!!! Can't stand them Badgers! Only team I root against in every sport (since they took down are "dream team", we would've beat those dukies)...yeah, they messed up my bracket too...and now ONCE AGAIN Duke has an easier path if they take care business...thanks Wisconsin!!!!
