Yep it's still called Metropolitan College.

I once taught classes at UPS to give high school kids college credit.

Had about 25 high schoolers in the class. Most were okay but I had this boyfriend/girlfriend duo from Seneca High School who would have slit my throat if given the chance. The boyfriend literally did not turn in one assignment all semester long, yet he kept coming to class. So weird.

That duo sounds like a good premise for next Lavender murder mystery.
          Kentucky fan since 1971.

Not sure. It seemed like a disaster from the get-go. Based on what I saw from the guys I knew, adequate fulfillment of all obligations (including coursework) would've left room for about two hours of sleep per night. I don't know about you, but I didn't know very many college freshmen who were ready for that kind of commitment.

Yep, that's what it was called back then, too. Good to know it's still around if you're capable of that level of work.

I have a buddy that worked at UPS in the evenings and would open at Chick Fil-a in Etown the next morning before going to community college classes during the day. There were nights he'd call me on I-65 on his way home because it was the only thing keeping him from falling asleep at the wheel.

He lasted a lot longer doing that than I woulda guessed.

So you gave him the credits, right?

Some people can. The UPS thing always felt like a trap to me, though. I'd like to see some retention numbers.

                      Heck no. Proudly failed him.

Passed the girlfriend with a C- only because she turned in the final paper. They both looked lazy in such a profound way that it bordered on dangerous. Dazy.

Tom Crean has been fired at Indiana.

Would imagine if both Kentucky and Wichita St. advance, the Gregg Marshall-to-IU talk is going to be pretty loud come Sunday.

Just saw it. I actually don't think Tom Crean is a horrible coach but coaching Indiana strikes me as a job that your bosses are all reincarnated from the 1600's wearing George Washington wigs in the meetings lol lol lol. Hell I hate to admit it, but the very first governor of Indiana was from my family tree and he was a horrible governor, drunk, gambler, all of the above

Marshall would be a perfect choice for IU. Really good coach and an insufferable butthole. Should fit right in. Definitely an upgrade from Clappy.

There's nothing weird about that, Will. He didn't want to be away from his girlfriend.
