Fred Hoiberg might be an option for IU.

I saw a list of 10 or 12 this morning. Unfortunately, I think all but one is a significant upgrade over Crean.

LSU is interested in Tom Crean, per Gary Parrish on Twitter.

Good, then we can continue to not be worried about the tigers.

And we can thump Crean's gourd once or twice a year.

I hope they hire him quick.

For all the (deserved) grief he catches, Crean does appear to be a decent human being.
'He really doesn't want you to know he's doing stuff, which makes it even more amazing.'

Glad to hear, but I still like beating him.

It's been reported that Steve Alford has been offered the IU job, but many are disputing that report.

                      Let's hope that's a distraction this week.

I could see Alford taking the IU job if for no other reason that to get away from the Ball's. That had to awful to deal with this season. The dad threw Alford and his son under the bus with some comments this season. I would want no part of the rest of those sons that are coming.

LSU has hired VCU coach Will Wade.

Let's hope it works out better than the last time the SEC grabbed VCU's head coach.

He was at Chattanooga before VCU. He may be fine but to me this is less than enthusiastic hire for an SEC team.

I know nothing about the guy, but a lot of "experts" are giving LSU big-time praise for this hire.

He's 91-45 in four seasons of head coaching. OK but not great. He's been an assistant at Harvard and VCU and director of basketball operations at Clemson. Not a big pedigree either. But you never know he may be the next Coach K?
