I hope we are in the region with Nova. But dUKe will get that easy draw.

You haven't watched them this year, have you? I want no part of Nova.

Nova has had some injuries lately that have slowed them down. If they aren't healthy when the NCAA's start then it may not matter that much. I don't think it's going to matter a whole lot where you are placed and who you are matched up with this year. No one has separated themselves from the pack.
You know Kentucky will get a rival or perceived rival matchup that first weekend. Look for Cincinnati or WVU to be in the same bracket as UK with Louisville and/or Duke in the same region.

In three of Kentucky's five losses, what has really hurt us has been a wing scorer: Justin Jackson, Josh Jackson, Robert Hubbs.

Villanova, Kansas, and Carolina all have that guy. For that reason any of those games is going to be tough.

I do think 'Nova because of the injuries likely has the best shot of being knocked out before they made it out to the Regional Final. So if I had a choice, then I'd go with them as our 1.

Don't think we'll get the West unless Gonzaga falls again, but don't think I'd want any part of that anyway. That could be against the Pac-12 winner in San Jose.

Essentially the same team that won the national championship last year. Yeah, let's do that.

To be fair, I'd rather be in a bracket with Nova than a North Carolina, but still... Nova is not a bunch of chumps.

Justin Jackson did have a big game. But if I recall UK won that game.

But the rest of this I agree with. As you said because of injuries I would like Villanova as the 1. Next choice would be Kansas. I thought UK would beat them first time.

Definitely don't want the west. I think that will be Oregon as the #1.

                  Yep. My fault.

                  Two of our five losses.

Against UCLA it was kind of a combination, but Leaf was the one who really did the most damage against us. Florida just assaulted us down there and Louisville hurt us with Snider. Ironically we did a great job against Louisville's wing, Donovan Mitchell, likely because we weren't giving up so much size at the 3.

Hart and the two Jacksons really pose problems because they're bigger players who can also step out on the court. But obviously those guys don't just hurt Kentucky; they get pretty much everybody.

Yeah I watch them a little when mighty Butler kicked their midget all the way back to Philly. I get it that some of you are scared of your shadow.

I know we would beat Nova on a neutral court. I hope they are the 1 seed in our region.

                    Is that more clear?

And I'm talking a fully healthy Nova. Not because of any injuries. I would prefer to be in the region with Gonzaga as our number 1 except for having to go west.

One day UK fans will wake up and realize how good this team is. But even if you don't I will remind you.

You do know Villanova had a couple of starters missing in that game too?

Villanova had two starters out against Butler.

But regardless, forget our potential opponent. Kentucky won't make it to the game against the 1 seed unless De'Aaron Fox plays better. We won't get out of the first weekend if the player we saw the other night is the one who shows up in the NCAA Tournament.

That was also against a team that peaked in Dec while we were still finding our way.

I like our team but I don't like it so much that I think we can have a key player under-perform and still win in the NCAA Tournament beyond the first round.

This isn't 2012 when we can have our best player get one field goal and still win the national championship game.

Even though it's going to come in with a better record this team has had to fight for virtually everything since the middle of January. When you watch them you don't see a machine but rather a team that really has to have everybody on deck or the wheels start wobbling.

This is similar to 2011 and 2014 where the margin for error is relatively slim.
