Just looking at the stats overall we are 34-15 and last time they beat us was in 2012 of 80-77. Its always an exciting time when we play our rivals. With the way the Cats are playing im not to worried about this one. I predict us winning by 10 at least, and also I predict this one being close to another 100.

I think, like Rupp, most of the tickets are allocated at the beginning of the season to season ticket holders. There is (generally) no "tickets for the UK game are now on sale" moments.

Lots of good tickets on StubHub still. But bring your wallet. Saw some decent ones for $106.

You will never see me enter an arena full of another team's fans.

I don't get rowdy, but I want to root for my team vocally. I've been at IU games where we were sitting in the IU section, and that wasn't ideal.

I've always been fascinated by opposing fans who stroll into other places just to troll another team's fans. There was a guy at the Yum! a couple of years ago at the NCAA Tourney open practice who was walking up and down the levels wearing a "Kentucky Sucks" shirt with his arms raised.

Takes a special individual to pull something like that.

In recent years UK athletics have actually been making tickets available for individual games - I've seen them via their twitter feed.

Then of course, there's always stubhub.

BBN travels across states flying and driving so a little road trip up the street is nothing for BBN, right?!!!

We do have to hit the boards need a lot of fast break/transition points Loui can't keep up with us (not consistently).

And now lets see what the "preason voters" have to say about Mathiang...that's the player that was voted SEC player of the year right?! Thats why they call it pre-season he can have two seats...unless Monk does an about face, he's snatching that from Mathiang.
Louisville is in the ACC. If I recall Moses Kingsley from Arkansas was voted preseason POY. Think if that vote were to be redone Monk & Fox would likely be 1-2.

I have never had a problem getting tickets. Usually the games around the holidays have plenty of them available. And at worst there are scalpers set up a block away with prices that aren't terribly outrageous.

Briscoe didn't play in the game last year and we still won.

Ironically it may have been better that Briscoe didn't play last year. Hawkins was huge in that game.

I hope Briscoe feels like he has a lot to prove tonight. If we get UCLA Briscoe we can't win.

When Louisville throws that zone at us Briscoe is going to be essential right in the middle of it. (Actually Pitino might not go with the zone; UCLA just put Briscoe's man on the block, twenty feet away, and backpedaled like crazy on Fox, and then manned everybody else. I think we'll see some of that.)

A friend of mine used to joke about "non-traditional" defenses.....you know:
                          box and 1
                          triangle and 2

What you describe is what we call:
                          point and 4

Where basically Briscoe's defender is playing a one man zone.

Dale Brown called it the "freak".

Maybe it's just me but today doesn't even feel like UK/UL rivalry game. Not sure if it's because it's the middle of the week but shamefully, I just remembered today was the actual day for the game

                              I think I need a vacation...........

If you are like me, you are still enjoying Saturday's win. I am looking forward to the game tonight.
