No it's not. One of the reason the penalties they missed exist is to protect players. I can list 10 calls they missed off the top of my head. If they missed them for both teams, that's 20. In 're to the clock management, I've read plenty of comment across the board Stoops shoul have milked the clock MORE on the previous field goal. In this case if he had State would have scored with no time at all left for the Cats. IF Badet tries three or four more steps, games over. IF DB hangs on to the prettiest pass Johnson threw all night, it's irrelevant.
I gotta wonder if State fans aren't questioning their coach about HIS clock management.
Mark Stoops is definitely not a hall of fame coach as of yet. Likely never,,,those are few. He sure has these kids playing with a heart I haven't seen since Brooks kids stepped up....finally.
long as they keep that effort up, I will grant Coach Stoops some growing room.

I agree with you, they cant always catch everything possible during a play. In any sport you will see they do miss calls mostly on minor ones and do calls on major ones. They cant stop the players getting hurt no matter if they make calls or not its just part of a risk.Comment

THAT is the win this team needed to give themselves a chance to change the season.
I spent the weekend outdoors, so only saw the scores this morning. Agree with others' sentiments: definitely the type of game this program has lost, over the years.Comment
