        This is a big part of the problem. It doesn't matter how you or anyone else "takes" what is being said as offensive. There is no right in this country to not be offended. Grown ups can converse and choose not to be childishly offended regardless the circumstances. OTOH, those stuck in or brought us as "terrible twos" are offended by nearly everything and think it's somehow within their rights to not be offended and to throw a tantrum to get their way. Sad really.
