That's for sure. One thing I've noticed, as I've gotten older, is that the older you get the faster time seems to pass.

Seriously seems like I was 25 just last month... now, "I'm a man, I'm 40". I remember crying as a child when I was told Han Solo was 40, because "he's so old".

I drove around the stadium on Sunday. They are behind schedule; but it is looking good.

I wasn't sure how the limestone facade would look... I like it. Also the upper facade that obscures the underbelly of the upper deck is a big cosmetic upgrade.

I am not crazy about all of the large mature trees that are being knocked down for the Alumni Drive re route.

I was told by someone who has intimate knowledge of the status and timetable that they were "way behind". We did have an unusual amount of snow, cold, and a very late spring this year. I didn't get the impression that they wouldn't be able to recover. There hasn't been much work happening on the weekends yet, so it can't be that much of a concern. Yet....

I remember when my parents were in their 40's that they were old. I'm 44 now. Age is just a number anymore. Keep it young inside and you'll grow old gracefully.

I liked the layout of the field, especially the checkerboard endzones. I can't wait to see it in person. The field is really gonna pop with color. The grass allowed the paint to fade.

I'm sure it looks different if you're looking at the actual field, but in the pic the checkerboard effect isn't very visible. From what I can see, from the pic, I think it looks great, though.

Apart from the dopey new logo with the stretched K, it looks great. I didn't care for the painted endzone in the past; but this looks nice. The real test is how much the turf looks like actual grass.

If they run out of time & can't get the turf down, they can just paint the dirt & play on it. A lot of rain would make it added fun.

Around Lexington the company doing the turf doesn't exactly have a great reputation for keeping timetables. He seems to do a good job with UK athletics though...

I don't think it will be an issue.
