    My thoughts exactly.

Why would the coaching change causing him to reconsider make you not want him? What if he has no confidence in the new offensive staff? That is the time when you ABSOLUTELY consider transferring.

If he can play and our staff wants him, I WANT HIM!!!

I wonder how many games he played in this year. Is he eligible for a redshirt in 2018? He would almost certainly have to sit out 2019. That would leave him either 3 or 4 years, depending on how much he played this year. Wilson would be a senior by the time he is eligible here.

        Lots of questions.

Without other issues, he gets a RS for 18. Should he transfer without NCAA granting some type hardship, he sits.
that gives him 3 for 3.

Just a jilted suitor response from me and some others Spirit
young guy certainly has had difficulty making a decision . That's not so much a sin as it is perhaps a yellow flag.
How much of that is him and how much is family is another yellow flag.
He is in the same slot at Miami as Danny Clark was at Kentucky....not so much flag as fact.
The reports that the coaches gave him a road map to playing is stuff freshmen go through. HIS concern now is the path he was given is now gone and he will have to learn whatever system a new QB coach and OC bring in.

I think, if you reread my post, I stated that if he comes here and CS welcomes him, I would support him totally.

Sorry no. Unless he get a waiver against the 5 to play 4 rule, he will have three to play three. Doesn't matter if he played this year. OK, he would have four to play three but that's useless he does not have to sit out 2019. Don't see any basis for that but you never know with the NCAA.

I know, but you also said that you were "more sure that you wouldn't want him". I am asking why the reason you gave would make you want him less?

Yeah but you basically negated your first sentence with your second.

Gosh, Lighthouse.....seems like you've peed in somebody's cheerios. Past couple days have seemed to be the anti-Lighthouse brigade.

But back to this kid.....look, if the coaches know something that is going on that is causing such turmoil in decision making and are willing to take him, well..that's what they get paid for.

All I can go on as a reader of the board is things I've read or heard reported. Talent with a high risk is okay. Talent with a really high likelihood of crash and burn is a stretch.
I'd STILL rather see a four star O or D lineman being interested in jumping myself.

It's a discussion board and we questioned a post he made in the discusson... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Asking for simple clarification of a post on a discussion forum is hardly anti-anything.

I don't understand his conclusion and I asked what he meant. That is what reasonable people in polite discourse do.

No biggie. I've had coaches give me a lot more concern. I always make a call, explain it the best I can and move on.
