Some of us questioned whether we would want him when word got out he was considering a transfer. Now, after deciding to stay and the thought he may reconsider transferring because of the coaching change, I'm more sure I wouldn't want him. However, if he did decide to transfer and CS welcomed him here, I would fully support him.
If he can play and our staff wants him, I WANT HIM!!!Originally posted by John Stuart MillHe who knows only his own side of the case knows little of that... I wonder how many games he played in this year. Is he eligible for a redshirt in 2018? He would almost certainly have to sit out 2019. That would leave him either 3 or 4 years, depending on how much he played this year. Wilson would be a senior by the time he is eligible here.
Lots of questions.Comment

young guy certainly has had difficulty making a decision . That's not so much a sin as it is perhaps a yellow flag.
How much of that is him and how much is family is another yellow flag.
He is in the same slot at Miami as Danny Clark was at Kentucky....not so much flag as fact.
The reports that the coaches gave him a road map to playing is stuff freshmen go through. HIS concern now is the path he was given is now gone and he will have to learn whatever system a new QB coach and OC bring in.Comment

I think, if you reread my post, I stated that if he comes here and CS welcomes him, I would support him totally.John 3:3

But back to this kid.....look, if the coaches know something that is going on that is causing such turmoil in decision making and are willing to take him, well..that's what they get paid for.
All I can go on as a reader of the board is things I've read or heard reported. Talent with a high risk is okay. Talent with a really high likelihood of crash and burn is a stretch.
I'd STILL rather see a four star O or D lineman being interested in jumping myself.Comment

I don't understand his conclusion and I asked what he meant. That is what reasonable people in polite discourse do.Originally posted by John Stuart MillHe who knows only his own side of the case knows little of that...
