I'm going with the latter. We might be getting a transfer but I doubt it is "high profile" in the sense that it's a big time, immediate impact player. I haven't seen anyone talk about it but Jones.

Mind you, this is just a guess. Of course, he would have to sit out a year. There is a difference between high impact and immediate impact. I think that defensive back is certainly a position of need.

Matt talked about it again today and said it is still happening, and he will tell us who it was if for some reason it doesn't happen. He is still pretty certain on it happening and reiterated it is a "high profile" player.

You can scratch Kelly Bryant off the list, he's going to Missouri.

I'm not saying that's the case this time, but I think there are times when Matt just throws stuff against the wall to see if it will stick. If he's right, he looks like a genius for having scooped the big boys. If he's wrong, people will forget about it in a few days and move on.

Matt Jones is sometimes a bit hard to take but I have been listening for a long time (except when the whole show is about basketball) and I must say he is pretty honest on this kind of thing. He does have sources he holds close to the vest…that's why they trust him stuff.
