It's probably hard for many fans to appreciate how good this team is because of the grinding, smashmouth, brutal way we play. It looks like a struggle but I think what's happening is that Stoops is trying to set the game up to just make enough fourth quarter plays to win.
Had a friend--who isn't really a UK football fan--say to me just this morning that Kentucky was "mediocre." I couldn't disagree more.
The question is whether this can be sustained all the way through, or whether our razor-thin margin for error is going to bite us. I'm not sure but Missouri is a great test. They're sort of like our polar opposite. But if we can beat them I really think we're getting at least 10.
We're so close to history.
