A&M's run defense is very good. And it was obvious their plan was to stop Snell at all costs. Running him headfirst into a brick wall was going to accomplish nothing. Wilson was going to have to make plays to win that game.
But dropping back, standing in the pocket and throwing the ball downfield is hardly his strength. I would have liked to see more of the quick outs to Bowden, screens, the 5 yard over the middle throws. The things he is comfortable with and capable of. Passing the ball doesn't mean you have to stand back there and throw it as far as you can.
