Denzil Ware transferring

I heard an analyst comment today about Alabama trying to block their backup center from transferring to Tennessee. Bluntly, once a kid has actually graduated there is no way they can be 'blocked' from going anywhere they wish.

He put his name in the draft only to return to school to play his Senior season. The kid has graduated and now goes to a lesser school perhaps to get injured. I don't get it. I mean, doesn't he expect to be picked in the draft next year? Why doesn't he just make himself available to the NFL supplemental draft?

I kind of think when we look back at Ware's career there will be many head scratching moments.
for all his talent, it seemed like he chafed with assignments. Perhaps as a young man he thought that was just a Mark Stoops, Kentucky defensive coordinator rule. Since he did NOT enter the draft or supplemental draft it indicates to me he didn't receive positive feedback.
Going to Jax State puts him closer to home....and he will likely find THAT coaching staff has an assignment protocol that he will need to learn....quickly.

Personally, I think he's made a strange choice. Almost seems like an 'anywhere but here' decision.

You can give folks advice and guidance all day long. If they don't want to take it, there ya go.

And yes, I still say if you're good enough, the NFL will notice.

My head scratching moments were the number of times he was helped off the field with cramps. It seemed like every game. I would think that after it happens a couple times I would hydrating on Friday.
