Leach's record of success as a head coach really can't be credibly questioned. He did things at Texas Tech that no one else did or even expected, and he turned them from an afterthought into a consistent winner - the only consistent winner in the conference throughout his years there. Then he changed Washington State from being one of the very worst programs, maybe the worst Power 5 program at the time, into a winner. And he's no flash in the pan, as it is consistent success, over more than a decade and a half. That's no small feat, as we watch Butch Jones, Kevin Sumlin, Jim McElwain, Jim Mora and Mike Riley - all once up and comers making waves - get fired, just like Les Miles, Tommy Tuberville, Charlie Strong the year before that, or Al Golden, Steve Spurrier, George O'Leary, Will Muschamp, Bo Pelini, Brady Hoke, Charlie Weis, Mack Brown, Lane Kiffen, Gene Chizik, Derek Dooley, etc. before that. Leach has won, consistently, over a long period of time, and in difficult jobs. He's produced pretty remarkable results for where he has coached.👍 3Comment

I only saw part of this game and it was a good thing. I was listening while driving around doing errands. Leach and the others seemed very disgusted at UK's antics during this game. It was just embarrassing. I am also sick of Stoops saying after every loss he has to do better. Well do it then! and quit crying.
I am sure the enthusiasm for a bowl game with be just overwhelming after this game.I'm not sure there will be a worse team than UK that will get a bowl bid. They have just looked awful the last two games. Defense is non-existent. This is from a coach who was known for his defense. This is "his" players too. You can't blame Joker any longer. Oh well UK won 7 games against a very weak SEC. They had a chance for a special season and totally blew it. God knows how long it will be before they have another chance like this.

Also on Leach, he would n;t be doing any better at UK. Leach's teams have never had good defenses that I can remember. That sounds familiar doesn't it? Also coaching in the Big 12 and Pac 12 still isn't the SEC. Leach would get UK to 7 wins but I doubt any better than that. He is a strange guy too that just wouldn't fit well at UK. He would have to win big to over come that and as I said he wouldn't at UK.Kentucky fan since 1971.Comment

Out of curiosity I went back to the miss by MacGinnis. Here's a picture right before the ball hit the post. Look at that wind blowing...1 PhotoComment

You can see air? Do you wear the glasses the Reading Rainbow dude on ST:TNG wore? Do particles of air get broadcast over television? High Def is REALLY high def now, huh? If it wasn't windy at that moment, he missed it because there was a gust then it quit.
I cannot believe anybody would try to argue that wind doesn't affect footballs and that, despite what is being reported to you first hand, it wasn't windy and particularly gusty. Was there nobody else there? As evidently it takes collaboration of a hundred people to verify it was windy and gusty. I was gonna leave it alone, but a picture of air?!?Comment

Second, no one's saying that wind doesn't affect games. We're saying that we don't agree with your claim that the wind is the reason we lost the game. How you still fail to see that is beyond comprehension.Comment
