Starts with Stoops. He's my biggest concern between now and next season - much more so than player development or recruiting.

Football is an emotional game. So is life.
the kids AND COACHES......ESPECIALLY THE COACHES.....have to learn to reign in and deal with both prosperity AND adversity.
All of a sudden it seems neither the defense or the coaches know how.

For Pete's sake.....do we need Stephen Johnson to give the coaches and the whole defense training on how to keep their composure????

      Actually very concerning.

For those who want Stoops gone I have two questions:

Who would you get to replace him? Like, seriously. Who out there is available and proven that would be interested in the job that could do a better job than him? And please dont say Neal Brown. Remember, he couldn't cut it as our OC and we ran him out of town not long ago.

We lost two close games that we shouldn't have and three games were not even close. What was your expectations at the beginning of the year? We aren't a top 15 football team so getting blown out by Georgia and Miss St is what it is. I don't think we are THAT much worse than Louisville but they have one of the best college QBs there's ever been. Were you expecting a nine win season? Probably not.

          Pretty bad outing.

I assume there are those who want Stoops' head. That seems short sighted and naive. I hope our Football program can weather the storm of negativity for a week or so and go win our bowl game....

My biggest concern for next season is that we'll have a sixth-year coach making the same first-year mistakes.

I can't say I want Coach gone. I DO think it would be a good idea to hire a top notch defensive coordinator.....and there should be several out there...and turn the reigns over to them. At times I believe Coach Stoops MAY be too involved with actually coaching the players when as head coach he should be managing the coaches and the game. It SEEMS we have done that with coaches Gran and Hinshaw....perhaps we should do that defensively instead of continually hammering Mark Stoops needs to get more personally involved in the defense.

Jmo, I would like to see Randy Shannon given a shot with his coaching defense and recruiting chops.

Take a cool million to Randy Shannon or $750,000 to Mike London.

In Stoops 5th season, we got blown out by 1/4 of our opponents This is crap that should not be happening in your 5th yr. Should be competitive. This is not a bad game, this is poor coaching. If he does not go after a top defensive coach, then athletic dept needs to let him know in no uncertain terms he is out if we suffer another season like this. As for Johnson, great kid, great teammate but as a QB in SEC he is rather limited. What other SEC team would he start on? Last yr Badet made him look really good, today was a horrible game for him. The way we are looking for another QB really concerns me in what else we have to choose from. Yea Stoops has improved what we had player wise from Joker, stats are not much better, like it or not we are still one of the worse teams in SEC. Can't get excited about our future, just stinks to be a UK football fan today and most other games this season. After starting 5 and 1, ending 7 and 5 isn't anything to brag about.

Leach's team has a 37-3 loss to Cal, a 58-37 loss to Arizona and are currently down 34-0 to Washington. Not exactly a murders row that his team has been pummeled by.

Now down 41-7. They got blown out by 1/4 of their opponents. But, facts only count for Stoops and not what could have been with the almighty Leach.

The wind was a MAJOR factor in this game. SJ15 is great, but he's not the most accurate, and that wind made him off badly.

First of all, unless I missed it, I haven't seen anyone, on here, calling for coach stoops to be fired, at this time. As for myself, I predicted seven wins before the season began. I feel we lost a couple we shouldn't have, and didn't win any we shouldn't have.

I am more disappointed in our attitude. We had a few guys that embarrassed our program. Between Nick Haynes tweets and Jones and Ware's personal fouls, I found myself just embarrassed. Act like you have been there before. That was my biggest takeaway from the game.
