I wanted to humbly inquire whether it is acceptable within this site's rules to create a political discussion thread within the General Discussion forum to accommodate those who wish to engage in political banter and keep up with current world events? Thanks for your guidance and insight.

I’m still learning to navigate things here. I probably have rookie questions, but I haven’t had time to really investigate. Like I get notifications of reactions to my posts, but it seems I can’t see who reacted. And I don’t know if there is a “thread memory” so to speak, such that the board remembers the last post I viewed in a thread, and returns me to that point the next time I return to the thread.

Anyway, I’m sure I’ll figure things out eventually.

It’s been a couple of years since I’ve been to a game. I try to say hi to Rick and Dennis but time has gotten to me since I don’t live in Lexington anymore.
