We are very blessed that it didn't come this far. WKYT is quoting London's mayor as saying there is 20 confirmed dead there.

I’m glad you all checked in. Woke up this morning wondering about everyone and wanting to hear. Sorry about the losses, but glad to know about my WCN friends. I’ve checked in with all my family. So far, so good. Hoping for calm weather going forward.👍 2Comment

It is devastating and heartbreaking to see the damage in London and Somerset
We just had rain and wind here in Louisville

It seems like Mid-Southern Kentucky is getting more than its share of bad weather lately. Be safe WCN'ers!John 3:3

The tornado that went through London was a mile wide and went 55 miles.
My grandson lives in London, thankful he was safe.

What a weird weather cycle so far this year. From 14 inches of snow (my house) to 14 inches of water (again my house) to wild tornado's.
If I was a betting man, I would wager we will probably go into crazy high temperatures and no rain at some point.
As the old saying goes here in Kentucky, if you don't like the weather, just stick around it will change.

I have always respected Mother Nature and her boss. Got caught in a tropical depression in Hilton Head years ago. No power and since we were supposed to check out, no food. Had to spend an extra night. The complex fed us breakfast before we left the following morning.Comment
