I stayed in because I didn't have any place I needed to go. I didn't watch the Inauguration because that sort of thing doesn't interest me. By the way, it's supposed to be around zero here tonight.

Zero and below tonight depending where you are.

Leave a faucet trickling overnight and open the cabinet door under the sink. Preferably one on an outside wall, otherwise any sink will do. If you have a basement, not so really an issue.
Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that's it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left.

What would be the normal temperature there for this time of the year, Cathy?

Well, I reckon it's over. I hope everyone came through unscathed. I checked the Weather Channel a few minutes after eight yesterday morning and we came in at zero.

Looks like Berthoud averages in the teens for lows in Jan and Feb. They have sweaters and boots for their dogs

Just for the record, I checked the temp for the last few days in Fairbanks Alaska and it was between 20 and 22.

I used to travel quite a bit for work. Spent time in in the Twin Cities and Dickinson, North Dakota. The high in Minneapolis on Tuesday was -7.

At least this segment. I know climate and the seasons are different now. I'm quite a bit older than my wife and I was telling her, the other day, that Feb. used to be the worst month of the winter when I was growing up.

I been there too my friend. I remember growing up when we couldn't burn plant beds until a heavy March snow melted

I wish. Maybe at least the worse of it is over as far as snow and single digit temps. This week looks good

My mom always said that about February in Kentucky. I remember one winter, I believe it was 1963, our temp dropped to -21 in late January. Seems we got less snow back then, but more of a snowfall when it happened. However, my aunt said we had more snow, more often. That’s going way back, but she always remarked about it. Not sure if the numbers bear it out.
