Nasty weather starting in KY soon. Supposed to start snowing in the morning then turn to ice. Ending as snow. In the Louisville area, could have up to 1/2 inch or more of ice and 5-10 inches of snow before it gets out of here Monday. We are as prepared as we can be. Everyone stay safe and hope you don’t lose power.

Just starting to snow here in Jeffersontown. A dusting on the deck. If we lose power, we have a fireplace that will heat our living area. Have a gas stove to cook on. Keeping devices charged. Now, if I can tolerate my hubby telling me to clean out drawers and closets since we will confined to the house ðŸ™Comment

Ended up with about 7-inches of snow here topped by about 1/4-1/2 inch of ice. We have a 5 trunked birch in the front yard and 3 trunked birch in the back. Nearly 30 years old. Lost another trunk in the front and numerous limbs all over the yard, roof and patio.
But the power is still on - better than the last ice storm we had and power was out for about a week - up to two weeks for many.
Hope everyone came out of it with little or no damage.Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that's it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left.

We got over 10 inches with ice in between. We live in a retirement community and they feed us so as long as the power stays on we're good.Comment
